Anthony Bozza


Anthony Bozza, is a New York City-based author and journalist. His career began during a seven year tenure as an editor and columnist at Rolling Stone, for whom, in 1999, he wrote the first in-depth profile of rapper Eminem to appear in a national publication. Bozza is best known for his bestselling books, Whatever You Say I Am: The Life and Times of Eminem, Tommyland, the autobiography of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee as well as Slash, the autobiography of Guns n’ Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash. Bozza’s next outing was a collaboration with comedian Artie Lange on his autobiography Too Fat to Fish, which debuted at #1 on The New York Times bestseller list and remained on the list for 22 weeks. Bozza’s next two books were Why AC/DC Matters, an analysis of the legendary Austrailan rock band, and I Am The New Black, the autobiography of 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live star Tracy Morgan. In addition to his ongoing writing career, Anthony Bozza recently teamed up with best-selling author Neil Strauss, to found Igniter Literary Group. Igniter is now an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers' It Books division and will begin publishing cutting edge non-fiction in 2010.
